“I thought, ‘I’m not going to make it through these four years.'” At one point, Hines made this comment about Trump.
To Cheryl Hines’s dismay, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has abandoned his far-fetched bid for president and instead pledged his support to Republican contender Donald Trump.

Kennedy, 70, made the revelation official on Friday at an announcement in a Renaissance hotel ballroom in downtown Phoenix, after teasing it earlier this week with his running mate, Nicole Shanahan.
According to earlier reports, Kennedy was weighing the possibility of joining a second Trump administration when he encountered resistance from Hines, who allegedly stated that she “really does not want him” to back the ex-president.
Soon after RFK Jr.’s declaration, the 58-year-old actor from Curb Your Enthusiasm spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, saying, “I’d like to extend a sincere, deeply heartfelt thank you to every person who has worked so tirelessly and lovingly on his campaign.” They have achieved the seemingly impossible.
I wholeheartedly support Bobby’s choice to run on a platform of togetherness. Amazing people from all walks of life, including Democrats, Republicans, and independents, have crossed my path during the past fifteen months.
“From what I’ve seen, most people on both sides of the aisle are decent human beings who genuinely care about our nation and each other,” she continued. It has been a charming, illuminating, and life-altering adventure.
But Hines has been very forthright about how she feels about Trump.
“I had to have a serious conversation with myself after Trump’s election because I thought, ‘I’m not going to survive these four years,'” she explained.
Hines also discussed the 34 charges in Trump’s hush-money trial in New York in a December chat.
She inquired, “Will Trump end up in jail?” about the various litigations that included Trump by way of illustration. After his trial, a jury found him guilty on all thirty-four counts, making him the first sitting president of the United States to face criminal convictions.
Another issue I ask Bobby frequently is if Trump can be president while incarcerated. “It is not in the constitution that he cannot,” Bobby stated.
“Who would bother to write it into the Constitution?” she inquired further.
