Dan devoted his life to researching the paranormal and teaching horror fans about Annabelle’s past under the guidance of the late, renowned paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren. After Lorraine and her late husband, Ed Warren, claimed that the Raggedy Ann doll was possessed by a deceased young girl named Annabelle and that the figure displayed violent behavior in the 1970s, the doll is said to be haunted.
Annabelle was then housed in the Warrens’ Occult Museum in Connecticut after being preserved in a glass case that was sealed.
