FireAid, a benefit event, will host performers like Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to raise money for wildfire relief efforts in the Los Angeles region.
The Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, will host FireAid, according to an announcement last week. Initially, the Intuit Dome was the intended venue for the event. On January 30, it will now take place in two different locations: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, which is located nearby.
Many platforms will televise and stream the event live, including Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. There will also be screenings of it at a number of AMC Theatres around the United States.
A news release stated that the Annenberg Foundation will allocate contributions to FireAid for both short-term relief operations and long-term measures to prevent future fire disasters. The FireAid benefit concert at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum will donate all proceeds to the designated recipients.
There are other artists such as Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lil Baby, Pink, Rod Stewart, Gwen Stefani, Green Day, Jelly Roll, Finneas, Gracie Abrams, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, and Earth, Wind & Fire on the schedule.
This will be the first time Dave Matthews and John Mayer have performed live together.
We will reveal other individuals as artists at a later time.
Tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster on Wednesday at twelve o’clock noon Pacific Daylight Time.
In collaboration with Live Nation and AEG Presents, Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family are organizing the event, which will take place.
Beyoncé, through her charity foundation, BeyGOOD, has contributed $2.5 million to the newly established Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund. This commitment comes after celebrities and entertainment groups have committed millions of dollars to assist families who have been evacuated or lost their homes as a result of the flames.
The Recording Academy and MusiCares made a gift of one million dollars to launch the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort the previous week. Thanks to the additional contributions, they have already disbursed two million dollars in relief for emergencies.
Despite the fact that the Recording Academy has redirected its efforts to help relief efforts in the wake of the tragic wildfires that occurred in the Los Angeles region, the 67th annual Grammy Awards will still take place on Sunday, February 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
